Clicky flip screen

Just received my x100vi, and while it’s a lovely camera, the flip screen has a noticeable click in the top right corner. The click worsens when the screen is fully flipped out so that it feels and sounds like a laptop trackpad when pressed.

I’ve found a few references to this problem online both with the v and the vi, so this doesn’t appear to be a one-off. Am I being unreasonable or do you think this is the kind of thing that warrants returning it? I dread to think how long the turnaround time will be to fix it, so I’m a little reluctant to send it in.
