Buying a new vehicle in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
I m considering to buy a Toyota Yaris for 9 Million in Sri Lanka. The problem is i m highly confused with people saying the prices will drop in the future. As far as I know vehicle imports will stop in a few months for a couple of more years once they hit their allocated budget (1.2Bn dollars). Apart from that, the cbsl already declared Vehicles as an asset that hold its value. Plus, there will be a new cycle of leases which will definitely make it very hard to reduce the prices in the near future. Even I m a fan of it if prices reduce but in a buyers pov i m concerned. Please let me know your thoughts. This is a no brainer in another but country but unfortunately in Sri Lanka vehicles are like the Vibranium 😂.
