VERY controversial opinion about atlee
I was having this conversation with my friend and he was talking about how he loved atlee movies par Bigil. I told him each of his movie is a copy of a great old tamil movie and that he should watch them instead. He simply said I don’t want to watch old movies no matter how good they are. Some people will never be able to watch a Nayagan or Thalapathy or a Thevar Magan because they are old movies. What Atlee is doing actually makes them experience the modernised version of those stories. I am a big fan of his screenplay work but maybe he should make movies while calling them official remakes of those exact tamil movies.
