Husky has been whining all morning lately

My 2yr old male husky has been whining all morning lately nonstop and we do not know what is up with him. He will usually start around 5-7am and as soon as 12-2pm comes around he will eventually stop. He gets his morning meal, trazodone for anxiety and then his exercise/walk but he will continue when he gets back and I don't really understand why. He also does not whine to me about it but to my other family members. When he gets up he immediately goes down stairs to wake them up instead of getting me to put him outside (he sleeps in my room). This behaviour is new and I cannot seem to understand why this has been the case lately.

Most of his whining seems to lead to him wanting us to put him outside but then he will whine to come back in 1-2 minutes later and repeat so I don't believe that is what he really wants. Does anyone have any idea what might be happening here?
