Just watched Bad Things on Shudder

Can’t tell if I’m just in a sour mood or did anyone else think this movie sucked pretty hard. Went online to see if anyone else had a fuller explanation of why it was so meandering, off-point, and just downright poorly (re)written version of the Shining.

I’m open to hearing alternative takes on it and obviously I give it points for the representational/queer eye it brings to a classic, but that’s about the only points I give it.
