Looking for an Apartment

Currently I live downtown and I love my current building (Harbach Lofts) but they were recently bought out by LivLavender and I've heard nothing but terrible things about them. I'm trying to find some place within the area as I love the walkability and the convenience of being right in the middle of everything. But as I'm looking for a new place the price isn't equating to the size of the apartments that are offered and parking is usually extremely high so far the lowest I've found is around 80 dollars. I've looked at lofts and while I love the look of a split level it's kind of just a studio and I'm not sure how I feel about it.

The Equitable building kinda meets what I'm looking for but parking is 135 a month on top of rent which is wild to me. The apartments above the HyVee downtown have also caught my eye it had relatively cheap parking and rent isn't so bad but it's only 100 sq ft bigger than my current unit...
