Console player

Hey guys so I'm pretty new to deathball (I've been playing for about 2 months or less) I'm just wondering does anyone know how to deflect fast on controller? I've been having a hard time with it since alot of players are on pc or computer and can deflect alot faster than me 😅

Any advice would be great for this as I want to get better at 1v1s
