Audiobookshelf Is A Massive Upgrade Over Plex For Audio Books
I had been using plex for audiobooks for the past few years, but was having issues with matching, with chapters being split out into separate book, and a handful of other things that made me stop listening to the collection I had.
Recently had to perform a storage upgrade, and looking around for other solutions came across Audiobookshelf. Decided to give it a try and after matching what I had properly, have been blown away with how smooth it is. Series grouped together automatically, seeing who the narrator is, and Audible artwork are all fantastic. I even connected up to a Firestick through the web browser and have the audio coming out of multiple speakers.
I installed on Thursday, and I'm almost done with my second book with no complaints. Glad I found this and decided to make the switch.
