Timing of Strong Urges

Today I ended up relapsing after a good start and was really trying to take my relationship with God more seriously. After sitting in my room thinking for a while, I noticed a pattern in the timing of strong urges and the temptations. Anytime I have something somewhat important to attend to, I get extremely strong urges, much stronger than usual. In addition to that, something might really anger me or sadden me the day before causing me to relapse out of frustration.

So, does anyone else feel tempted (even more than normal) when they have a “big day” coming up soon?
