How do i make my thumbnails look better

I don't really see anyone on this subreddit that's in my niche so really my main problem I'm now trying to figure out is thumbnails. I don't really know what my niche is considered but the closest representation of it would be a trailer for a game or something like that. I just made a new thumbnail but I'm wondering what I should do to make it better considering my type of content.
