DAE remember the Heavy.com Sumosonic Promo CDs from 2002-2005?

In the early 2000's, Heavy.com was a music and entertainment website. They had original "shows", news, as well as a monthly "Sumosonic" playlist that you could get in your mailbox as a CD every month.

These playlists had a pretty heavy (heh) influence on my music taste growing up. They featured new and underground electronic, indie, rock, and hip-hop acts, lots of it from the east coast/Brooklyn scene.

My parents however didn't want to pay the S+H for me to receive the physical discs. Over the past couple years, I'm on a mission to collect all ~45 original promo CDs, and document them properly.

There's very incomplete info online, even Discogs doesn't have all of them. I just bought a lot of 21 of them off eBay for $2, so I feel like I'm the only one who remembers this or cares. Oddly my wife also listened to Sumosonic back in the day.

Anyone else remember this unique (and influential?) compilation series?
