The shoe observation...

Shoes. We all wear them. It hurts to walk outside without them. I was listening to "Christmas kids" by roar the other day and did a bit of research... the song is about a couple, the husband, Phil, is abusive to the wife, Ronnie. Phil would take away her shoes so she couldn't run away. What's a prominent feature in littlenightmares games?? SHOES. you throw then at traps, swim in them, and just for decoration too! The kids don't wear shoes, they can't just wear the ones they find laying around, it wouldn't fit. I believe that not having shoes ties into the themes of escapism present in both games, more so lnm2. It just shows that the kids can never truly escape the no-where. However mono is the thin man, and he has shoes. I say that the kids who grow up in the nowhere slowly fade into it. They lose that drive, that special child like wonder and become another cog in the machine. As they grow, so do their feet. They now get shoes, this leads me to belive adults can leave the nowhere but are so brainwashed they just cant.
