Am I the only one with Chill parents?

I’ve seen many posts here which talk about parents being strict with dating and not allowing their children freedom and telling them not to get a girlfriend/boyfriend focus on studies get good career blah blah etc

But I’m literally unable to relate with any of these people because my parents are so liberal and have never told me anything about not dating etc. My dad used to pull my leg when I didn’t have a girlfriend. He encouraged me to get one. He never really cared about grades and wanted me to just know more about the real world. He did care about my 10th and 12th marks though and generally expects me to pass with at least 70%

(I think it might be like this because he’s really into that western culture of parenting, not really sure though)

My mom is kinda like average on both. She doesn’t have a problem with me dating and she knew when I had a girlfriend and even met her and was super chill about it. But she’s still like the average desi parent who says don’t get distracted by girls etc or whatever

They never told no to partying although I don’t even go much(I literally live in Bangalore). I’m allowed to take my scooter out even though I’m not of legal age YET.

They still are strict about studies and I HAVE TO score good but other than that they don’t mind me doing anything. I play guitar too(idk just wanted to add that)

There are a lot of things which I haven’t mentioned but I assure you I’m allowed to do those as well

I feel like I have a sorta easy life. But am I the only one?

Edit:I’d also like to add I’m not from some SUPER RICH background. Middle class average family. Dad is part of upper management in a manufacturing company and mom works for an American healthcare company. It’s an mnc. I get 1k pocket money per month I mostly spend it on food 😭🙏.
